Impressive as the Hubbell photographs are, nothing for me is as good as just looking at the stars from an unspoiled vantage point.
Is it because you're seeing the genuine light from the stars? Don't forget, light from remote objects like stars takes a long time time to get here. And so we're actually seeing them as they were in the past. Not that they've likely changed very much since the light left them.
