Positions taken by Trump that used to be considered conservative:
1. immigration - build fence, deport illegals
2. build up military
3. sane trade deals that help, not hurt, US economy
4. exalt America as exceptional country
5. rid the country of political correctness
6. take care of Americans before trying to take care of everyone else.
7. promote Christianity
8. against Corker amendment
9. against TPA gift of more power to Obama
10. make the United States great again
11. pro-second amendment
12. pro-life
Now, there are other supposedly conservative candidates who voted for TPA and the Corker amendment and then campaigned against both.
Being pro-second amendment is new for Trump.

Anyone can talk to try and get what they want. What are their deep and abiding principles? Trumps blah blah are the tools he is using to convince people who are fed up and emotional. Trump is for Trump, not Conservatism.
