Another "fact checker" facepalm.

You’ve probably heard today some variation the idea that “fact checkers are shredding Donald Trump’s story†about having seen people in New Jersey celebrating 9/11. This is one of these stories that liberals claim has been “debunked†because a conservative says it happened and they can’t independently confirm it.
It must be a lie!
Or, maybe, possibly, these liberal “fact checkers†are just not very good at their jobs. Powerline Blog’s Hindraker noted that after the dinosaur media announced their inability to confirm Trump’s tale, he thought he’d give it a go:

Just the other day when the police were in St. Denis, France the creep muslims were yelling at the cops as they left.
I remember seeing video of Muslims here in the US celebrating. I can’t say for sure whether it was in NJ or not, but if the WaPo reported it back then, I’d say that they are currently rewriting their own history from then, and putting the original report in the Memory Hole.

Plenty of people are coming forward remembering what Trump saw and reporting on it.
They were dancing in the streets of Paterson, NJ.
A caller to the Dana Loesch show said that in Paterson, the Arab shop owners were celebrating until the drug dealers got pissed and started beating them up. A local TV news report covered it. He also said the cops came out and let the dealers have some extra time with the shop owners. Apparently, the video from the news station was pulled long ago.
This story was deep-sixed shortly after it aired. I remember trying to retrieve the video a few months later—and magic, it was gone. The video was scrubbed everywhere!! Now the MSM claims it never happened. IT HAPPENED. I saw it and can never forget it.
I remember it too. I saw it, I think on CNN. Several towns in NJ watching and cheering from across the river.
The Drug Dealers... Gawd, I remember it was one of the few things I could laugh at...
I am telling you, the hate fired at Trump only strengthens him. The fact is, though, Trump is facing all this media vitriol because he is the front runner. If Cruz were in first, they would attack him.
I have not made up my mind yet, but am wondering right now if a Trump/Cruz ticket might not be the best way to go. Two mid term election cycles for these two guys to campaign for Constitutional congressional candidates, plus whatever they can accomplish in the meantime.
One or two concerns....first, suppose they do win. Would the hare brained GOP Congress refuse to cooperate with them? Look, it has happened before. Jimmy Carter ran in 1976 as a Washington outsider (he was), and even with BOTH houses of the legislature SOLIDLY in Democrat hands (post Watergate backlash), he had trouble convincing Congress to go along with him.
Also, Trump is on the wrong side of the New London SCOTUS decision.
Third, I would rather see Cruz on the Supreme Court.

I live in Franklin Lakes NJ. It was a well known fact that immediately following 9/11 Muzzies were celebrating in Newark, Jersey City, but most of all that hovel known as Paterson NJ.
Talk to any NJ cop who served near those areas at that time and they will confirm it. These stories were mostly suppressed to prevent a backlash in those muslim communities.
Anything that Trump says will be construed as a lie, we are not to believe anything that he says. The media has spoken.
It’s in the same memory hole as the WTC jumpers.
