A summary of political aspects you might find of interest; but first a note that I've yet to see anyone bring up.
In an unusually respectful interview between CNN host Don Lemon and Donald Trump, there was a moment when Lemon paused and thoughtfully asked if Trump was prepared to lose a significant amount of his wealth over his 'controversial' Muslim policy statement to pause immigration.

The response from Trump was not covered nor discussed, but it speaks volumes to understanding the candidate. He simply replied: none of that matters, none of that money matters, what I’m doing is trying to make America Great again…
In essence, a literal modern version of putting his life, his fortune and his sacred honor all on the line – for us.
No candidate has worked harder in the past six months to earn support. No candidate has held as many campaign events; no candidate has held as many rallies; no candidate has drawn tens of thousands to each – day in, and day out, without pause, rest or concern.
Donald Trump is, quite simply, working his ass off for this.
And the American electorate are aware and appreciative. A Reuters/IPSOS poll today shows how strong the support for Donald Trump is:
Support that is unfailingly strong.
People can see how hard Trump is working. The electorate can feel the connection he is putting forth for the best interests of America above his own best interests.
This is a remarkable revolution; and I’ll be the first to admit I fully entered with skepticism of Trump’s motive – but those thoughts are completely gone. Watching how he is working day and night to put his message out, to build his coalition, to unite Americans around a very simple commonality of America First – it’s quite inspiring.
All reservations of Trump’s intent have entirely evaporated. He’s in this for one reason, and one reason only, To Make America Great Again.
And people all over have responded with the same level of intensity and severity. CBS hired political pollster Frank Luntz to try out various attack ads against Donald Trump. What he found was absolutely incredible.
After three hours of a constant barrage of negative ads, no-one flinched in their support for Trump. Heck, it actually GREW.
So.. some guy that lives in a tree, dances in the sun and won’t put his name to his material?
Yeah, that’ll do.
It just DRIPS reality. And truth. Just DRIPS that.
They’d have more luck Finding Bigfoot.

This what I have been saying for months.
Trump is a modern day FF; his heart, his spirit, and his love for America is what his supporters see and why he is going to win.

That’s a focus group I’d pay to join.
And who was it that MADE O produce a birth certificate! At the time The Donald had nothing to gain, he was trying to flush O out for who and what he was/is. But...no one would even look or question the phony document.
IMO, Trump is tough as nails!

The GOPe will not figure out Trump because they are not willing to put it all on the line to save the country. They honestly believe everything is honkey dorey and all they need do is maintain the status quo. Truth is the status quo is suicidal and nearly every American who works a job or runs a business knows it. Trump knows it. His sacrifice will not be in vain, not this time.
I think he is more like Andrew Jackson than any of the FF, and I don't mean that as a putdown. The one candidate who is most like the FF is Cruz, and while I support Cruz, America seems to be looking for a Jackson-like scrapper.
Well, the article says something that is indisputable when comparing Trump to the Founding Fathers:

Trump is taking hits from every direction against his life, well-being, pocketbook, and reputation.
I see Trump as a combination of Teddy Roosevelt and Reagan. Jackson was a wild man and uncouth. Trump is neither of those things.
And putting his family at risk too.
All for the love of his country !

Yes, Trump raised his family to be strong. And they support his run. So they are courageous, too, because they want what’s good for the country even if it risks everything they have.
