When Election Day dawned, almost all the pollsters, analytics nerds and political insiders in the country had Hillary Clinton waltzing into the White House.

I learned 4 years ago to not to listen to anything two weeks prior to the election. ts the sane thing to do.
Team Deplorable is like the Spanish Inquisition, no one expects us.
It’s simple - they assumed too much and they were stuck in their own circle of elite ideas. They have very little in common with most of us so how can they understand us?
If we are honest, many of us made our own assumptions and despite our greatest hopes most of us had doubts. This is a tremendous opportunity for our nation and I pray that people will give him a chance and they (the elite) do not simply revert back to the elitism that caused them to miss this so badly.
He will need our continued support because part of what he needs to clean up is the GOPe. It’s a new day!

Agree 100%. They willfully put themselves in an echo chamber. President Trump and the American people just gave them a wake up call.
Polls were generally spiked upwards for Hillary.
In almost every poll that favored Hillary, more people identified as
DEMS than REPUBS to the tune of 5%-9%.

While the margins were smaller than I expected, likely due to the complete abandonment of the media of even a token facade of objectivity... There were those who called this election, particularly the collapse of the rust belt, accurately.

Because they were liars in the tank pretending and presuming that they were the winners of the foot race and looked down and saw that their ribbons were just “participants” ribbons given to them to make them feel good.
