Use a VPN (like tunnelbear) and you can ‘trick’ the source into thinking you are in a different country and will enable you to use services like netflix.

Agreed. VPN is the way to go. But be aware that Netflux, Hulu (I think) now block access to any customer using a VPN.

Supposedly there are ways around it but I cannot speak to whether or not it is possible. Buy 1 month access (Private Internet Access can be monthly, 6.95, every 6 months or 12 months 35.00) try it & see if it is what you need.
