You mean like Scott Brown’s incredible reelection?

It still is Alabama, just like Massachusetts is not a red state.

Dear Idontthinkso
“Given the choice, not sure I wouldn’t have done the same.”

People like you is why this country is in this mess. Why exactly do you believe he is flawed? Not Romney enough?

>>>If the numbers quoted last night are correct, the suburban women, many of them northern transplants in Birmingham, did not go out to vote

No it was the rural counties that didn’t get out to vote. The urban counties -Jefferson, Madison, and Montgomery - saw about 45% turnout. Rural counties like Cullman, Chilton, Walker and Moore’s own Etowah saw turnout of 35-38%.

If just 53% of the republicans that voted for Shelby in 2014 would've voted for Moore, he would have won handily.

I live in Va, and we almost lost the General Assembly this past November. That was a shock to even the Dems. Sure Va votes blue nationally, but never came close to being blue on a local level for the last 20 years.

The dems are whipped into a frenzy, and believe me, They Will show up 2018. Myself included will have to to double efforts to get votes out in 2018.

True. He’ll serve 2018, 2019 and 2020 and the
2020 elected senator will be sworn in Jan. 2021.

Turnout is correlated with candidate quality.

Yes, this is true. The left sees their efforts for the last 50 years being at risk.

It is at risk.

It does not matter that their “gains” all work toward destrution of the United States and Western Civilization.

They see that destruction as “Progress”.

Difference in votes, 20,715, your $100.00 strategy worked Flake, congratulations you got a liberal democrat elected.

Flake, Mitchell, Shelby, national press, local press, etc. etc. The dem new playbook. Look forward to seeing it in all future races. Some of us did what we could, but there are a lot of people out there who will not take the time to do research and all they hear is what’s on the TV news. You had to look to find the credible defenses to the accusations against Moore. You wouldn’t know about them if all you pay attention to is main stream media.

A. Under a new law passed in 2014, the deadline for receipt of UOCAVA ballots for
the primary, primary runoff, and general elections is noon on the 7th day following
the election, where such UOCAVA ballots are postmarked by the day of the primary,
primary runoff, or general election.

Perhaps. Explain the extraordinary turnout for Doug Jones, hardly an exemplary candidate.

He was just a space filler until the establishment media delivered their all out attack on Judge Moore.

Dems were highly motivated to defeat the other guy. Their guy just had to be non-objectionable, a box Jones checked.

Exactly. High turnout without a high quality candidate. Other factors were far more important.

NO VOTER ID SYSTEM, either. Ripe for fraud.

True that. A 92% turnout is a red flag.
