Trump should go to S Korea and tell them to “tear down this wall” (figuratively) for the border between N and S.
When the people are able to travel from the north and see what the south has, they will do the rest for us.
Hopefully it would be as peaceful as when East and West Berlin travel was allowed, where (as Brokaw said) “They Came, They Saw, They did a little shopping”
Trouble is that could turn into a flood of North Koreans who come and then don’t want to go back. I’m all for better relations between the two countries but at some point the North Koreans will see with their own eyes how they have been lied to and then the trouble could really start.
I wonder how and if that would work? Is Kim willing to give up power? Is he willing to let some of his citizens travel south?
