"....an arrest, then the lawyers get involved; then a first court appearance, maybe bail and then disclosure of documents; then a trial; then a conviction; then a sentence. Normally that takes months; maybe years. It happened today in a few hours. And while Tommy Robinson is the man who was condemned, I think the UK courts committed murder of their own reputation for liberty and law....."
Canadian libertarian activist Ezra Levant comments 5/25/2018
The English nationalist anti-Muslim activist Tommy Robinson (founder of the English Defence League) was standing outside a courthouse where British Muslims were being tried on sex abuse (grooming) charges yesterday in Leeds.
He was chatting with friends and fellow activists. He confronted two of the defendants shouting "How do you feel about the verdict?' as they entered the courthouse an hour before his arrest.
When the police surrounded him to take him away they said Robinson was in "breach of the peace".
He was taken into court and ordered jailed for 13 months.
In addition, media in the UK were prohibited from reporting the news of his jail sentence.
Some news stories about Tommy Robinson's arrest published early on yesterday in the UK were blocked from reading later on.
Is this North Korea or Cuba?
No this is the United Kingdom just hours ago.
Canadian libertarian activist Ezra Levant posted a video about what happened including video of Robinson's arrest.
A protest against Robinson's arrest is scheduled at 3pm today UK time (10am Eastern US) in London at Whitehall (the government section of the city).
Link below.......
Unreal.
In other words, a death sentence
No freedom of speech in UK.
Never has been to my knowledge.
Can someone explain why American boys died in WWII to keep these imbeciles free?
The fact that the cops keep harassing him isnt surprising.
The fact that “he was taken into court and ordered jailed for 13 months.” with no trial is just.... I dont even think I have words to describe that!
Hug your constitution a little tighter today, people. Because THIS is why you have it.
The UK authorities will probably arrest the demonstrators today and toss them in prison, also along with banning any news reports. By sentencing conservatives to Muslim dominated prisons, they are implementing a death penalty that they have outlawed in the EU. Britain has fallen.

1984 was supposed to be fiction, not an instruction manual.
Not anymore. The Brits have their hands in so much bad, manipulative "intelligence" recently. The Dossier, the "evidence" that Assad and/or Putin are responsible for everything that's an excuse for warmongering, being on the side of regime change for examples. Their leaders aren't handling Brexit decisively. If they don't get out, that's the end of Britain as an independent nation. From what we read, London is becoming an uninhabitable Muslim mess.
Now, convicting and jailing opposition voices? One has to ask why it isn't that Mayor of London that's being convicted and tried.
And the monarchy? A raging success. All of the women wore hats that couldn't be ignored to the Royal Wedding.
JMHO
Without the 2nd amendment this would be happening to us right now.
Troublesome enemies of the State are now disappeared. How very old-school soviet of the UK.
Many of his friends and supporters figure the Muslims in prison will kill him.
Subjects, not citizens.
I’m working a lot and on the go but videos are being posted and perhaps some search work will locate late information there or through Twitter or Facebook accounts.
There will be videos when people are protesting at Whitehall at 10am Eastern you can be sure. Maybe info will be provided there.
And this post expands and updates your post and video link and reaches a “new audience” in the morning hours.
Without President Trump thus would be happening to us right now. Think of a President Hillary and the power she WOULD have had.
You could crack open a history book and find out why America entered WW2.
But ... you won't.
