Hello From Montana-
You may have noticed that our site, www.grrrgraphics.com was suspended for over eight hours last night.
Our site is back up now, but is very slow to load.
This happened Monday morning, right after Ben's McCain Cartoon was published late Sunday afternoon.
We were attacked.
And silenced.
We were censored.
Fortunately, we are back online now. Because of this, so many people contacted us with messages of support in this censorship crisis- we want to thank you and everyone for the YUGE out pouring of kindness and offers of help. We are truly thankful we have you.
Ben has made a very special video just for you and wants to thank all of our fans and friends for your support and kindness! Please click on the button below and watch now to hear his message.
8 days ago I lost my ability to COMMENT after YouTube vids:
Here’s the weird part:
I only write politically HERE.
I very rarely comment in politicals terms after any kind of YouTube vid.
YOU SHOULD GO AND CONFIRM that you, too, have not been robbed, as I have.
I’d be interested in your data, since you all are a bit like me.
I live in SW Montana and am a fan of your GREAT work (grrrreat work?)
Best to you, ping me or PM me if you need anything - I mean it!
I’m still able to comment on YT... so far.
Something has to be done to either shut down these censored sites or force them by law to stop. Turn them into something different than privately owned or regulate the heck out of them since they are incapable of doing the right thing themselves. Power companies had to be regulated; this isn’t different in how the public uses them. What happened to a free and open Internet anyway?
I’d like to see those responsible for these censorships sued into bankruptcy as well. See how THEY like it when their income is taken from THEM.
2 years ago they shut down my 2 YouTube channels permanently, so this latest bit is new.
Ben Garrison is my favorite cartoonist.
Just build your own personal alternative internet and financial infrastructure if you want to exercise your freedom of speech by putting up some cartoons on a blog. /s
Verrrrry slow loading..!!
>:(
Yeah; Ben explains that in the video. He and his wife are looking at options. FR has been hit by these freaks too. Ben should probably look into a private server he maintains. Still have to depend on an ISP though and there's the rub. Trying to maintain a site, a firewall, and any hardware malfunctions can take its toll or at the very least; be cost prohibitive.
Ask Jim Robinson...
The list is getting pretty impressive:
“Don’t like it..? Get your OWN server..!”
“Don’t like it..? Open your OWN ISP..!”
“Don’t like it..? Open your OWN payment processor..!”
“Don’t like it...? Open your OWN bank..!”
“Don’t like it..? Construct your OWN power power grid..!”
Remember, THIS is coming from the same tribe who in the 60’s shrieked, “COMPANIES ARE OPRRESSIVE..!”
Yeah, well NOW they are.
And we NOW have a truly evil CIA/FBI, too.
Or regulate all evil doers into compliance since they won’t do the right thing on their own.
We conservatives are not fond of regulation but what other alternative is there when dealing with bad-faith actors?
We are getting closer (fast) to having two different America’s. The left and the right.
Think we can fit all the leftists into NY and NJ then leave the rest for us normals?
Once they complete an approved treatment plan to prove they are no longer bat guano crazy and leftist; they can join the normals again. Might require a small frontal lobotomy. Probably best to read the fine print.
That’s the one his server or site host says was the problem. Guess they didn’t like the truth.
Well worth watching on YouTube.
Was that the one that caused the kerfuffle? I visited his site (back up) and there were several excellent McCain cartoons.
