Government is working as intended. If partisanship reigns then the government does nothing which is as it should be! That’s not a bug - thats a feature!
I think this is their problem:
Trump beat Hillary.
That’s it.
His win was made possible by the Electoral College, as the Constitution proscribes the election for the President is a vote in 50 separate states, which then gets tallied to decide the winner..
Because Trump won, in their rage and anger, they want to do away with the Constitutional provision like the Electoral College.
Ask yourself this:
If Trump won the popular vote, and Hillary won the Electoral College vote, who would be president, and would Politico still want the Constitution changed?
