Tucker Carlson: What If States Decide To Ignore A Supreme Court With Kavanaugh On It?

Tucker Carlson said, "We've heard self-described anti-racism activists embrace full-throated racism on television," in the opening monologue of the Thursday broadcast of his FOX News show. Carlson also warned that some states may view Brett Kavanaugh as illegitimate and just ignore Supreme Court rulings.

"Going forward, look for the Left to delegitimize any decisions written by Brett Kavanaugh from the court or even any decisions in which he is the majority," Carlson advised. "Some states may just decide to ignore the Supreme Court."

"Sound far-fetched to you?" he asked. "Maybe. Maybe not."

"Look what's happening in California right now," Carlson said. "Lawmakers in that state, the largest state in the Union have already made it a crime for citizens in California to assist in the enforcement of any federal immigration law. "Suppose the Supreme Court were to try to crack down on that, it's not impossible to imagine California simply refusing to comply because Brett Kavanaugh sits on the court," he wondered. "Its edicts are illegitimate. That could happen. And that, by the way, is what crisis actually looks like, so get ready for that."

Carlson also pointed out the irony that Democrats now believe the FBI is involved in a "deep state" cover up because the supplementary probe did not yield any information they could use. His monologue:

They are to be ignored because they will do that to ANYONE who gains a SCOTUS seat while Trump is President.

Time to check what the Founding Fathers would gave done.

Then Trump declares them in a state of insurrection. Their representation in Congress is removed.

You’re correct and that’s the way it should have been since the mid-30s.

Those states would lose their federal funding in a heartbeat.

Holding on to idiot liberal values only goes so far....

And Lincoln had a response when some states went into rebellion.

If Trump had the military arrest Gov Moonbeam and transport him to Gitmo, it might have some impact.

At some point you have to draw the line. There is coming a time when the left will ignore the judiciary the way it ignores the Congress and President. The question is what do you do then? At that point I think the President send US Marshall’s and they begin arresting governors, AG’s and legislators for high treason. We had this argument in 1861. Trump is the only President I see having the balls to do this.

“Suppose the Supreme Court were to try to crack down on that...”

What does that even mean?

If it was not okay in 1861, it is not all right now. The Government has to react or there is no nation. I am a Southerner and a conservative but the Government must enforce it’s laws. If laws are not enforced, anarchy will be next.
