I mentioned it in other posts.

CNN doesn’t exist in those pressers as long as Acosta is their guy and trump rightfully ignores him. And if they finally pick someone to replace him and voluntarily try to swap them out, nobody is REQUIRED to give the replacement a hard pass.

In the short run, CNN looks oddly vindicated. In the long run, well, it just may be checkmate for Trump that goes to the heart of CNN, not just Acosta.

This assumes Acosta will be ignored (successfully). While I am all for the Trump administration giving CNN the trouncing they need and deserve, I have very little faith in it happening. And I do not rest on any frivolous secret squirrel "Q" "4D chess". I think saving this country requires us to work at it from the local level up. Probably a good chance that's the tougher game too. Just my humble OP.
