President Trump has slammed Barack Obama and his lawless administration for “spying” on his presidential campaign, claiming that the surveillance abuse committed by Obama, John Brennan and James Clapper may be considered “treason,”, according to audio tapes obtained by the Daily Mail.
According to President Trump, Barack Obama was fully aware his appointed CIA chief John Brennan and director of national intelligence (DNI) James Clapper were conducting surveillance on citizens, specifically members of his campaign.
“Personally, I think he knew. Yeah. Just remember what they did.”
“Let me put it this way: if the shoe were on the other foot, and the same thing happened to him, it would be treason and they’d be locked up for 100 years,” said President Trump.

No, I think Trump is wrong.
Treason involves an external enemy. I think sedition.. which is conspiring or encouraging overthrow of the government is probably a more accurate charge. But, he’s right in that it should be considered as very serious.

I trust that Trump has been calculating the timing of these releases, but I hope he is not waiting for the Mueller investigation to end before he does. It will just serve as an incentive to drag the Mueller investigation out even further. The general public has been swallowing the Dem's Big Lie. Over 60% of Dems believe that the Russians altered the vote tallies, something that no one in power has ever asserted. The longer this goes on, the harder it will be to get perceptions changed.
