My Opinion:
Choice 1 - Tulsi Gabbard/Henry Cuellar or vice versa
Choice 2 - Tom Steyer/Michelle Obama
Choice 3 - Gavin Newsome/either of two women listed above
Choice 4 - Bernie Sanders/either of the two women listed above.
I don’t see much else. Steyer/Obama is about as left wing as you can go. Plus you are putting a businessman up against a businessman. Would be interesting, especially since for the left, climate change will be number one topic.
Sanders is outright Socialism and some feel Hillary stole the nomination from him so it is his turn.
Newsome pulls from the biggest state and any woman on the ticket with him makes this an interesting battle.
Gabbard, although a neophyte brings military experience to the debate and with Cuellar you have the latino vote.
Wildcard: Having Obama on the ticket brings back the black vote. There is no other black in the US at this time that can do that, since both Harris and Booker will come under investigations early on.
