It is my understanding that there are public health facilities in every county. And, there is transport available to those facilities. It is risible to think that someone has to suffer ringworm, which isn’t a worm anyway but is a fungal infection, without any medical care being available. Further, ringworm isn’t that bad and is eminently treatable.
Does this mal-educated yankee even know what ringworm is? Does she know the meaning of “risible”, of which she is the quintessential example?
I don’t think she does know what it is. Once in a blue moon I’ll get a little ringworm outbreak. Easily cured with a small tube of anti-fungal cream . . . same active ingredient used to treat jock-itch . . . I’m sure she’s had a case of that before. . . :)
