It is a return to mob violence and social moral codes having equal weight to crimes like rape and murder.
That is the same tribal morality code Islam uses to justify killing the atheist or convert from the faith, because their actions are an affront, an assault on the entire community.
It is this moral code, that equates violations of social rules with literal assault, that justifies killing the critic of Islam and weaponizes the lynch mob to kill someone merely accused of such. The actual guilt of the person is irrelevant, because they can say the intense, immediate punishment ensures no one else violates the rules ... the death of the falsely accused is outweighed by enforcement of the rules by fear.
They’re legitimizing mob violence and defining said triggers for mob violence. Instead of cries of witch or infidel, it is MAGA. Instead of killing someone for blasphemy against a religion, it is for uttering conservative “hate speech”.
