If the Iran regime was overthrown, Politico would interpret it as a modest change that only served to divert attention away from impeachment.

The impeachment hoax is doing nothing but turn more voters against the democrats. Every non political person I talked to thinks the democrats are a bunch of idiots. A lot of them weren't big Trump supporters before but they support him now against the Nazi democrats.

No one cares about impeachment, you morons.

No one is trying to distract from it, you liars.

The only ones being hurt by it are you.

You’re going to wear the scarlet letter “I”, and no one else.

The non-stop attempted coup by the leftists/derp-state has been nothing but one long distraction from all the great things President Trump has accomplished.

Ignore all the noise and look at his works. Would any other President(R) have accomplished as much? Looking back maybe Reagan, and that's about it.

Anita KUMAR’s bio is nothing more than bouncing from left wing “ journalism” to another.

Absolutely ZERO background in economics, yet she can opine on the China trade deal.

Just another Affirmative Action Jackson

Slick Willy fired missiles and endangered troops to delay his impeachment vote a few days in a desperate attempt to turn the public (media) opinion against impeachment.

Trump hypes modest China deal...

Modest deal is expected to increase GDP from about .5 to .75 and the difference between a GDP of 2% to 2.75% is a full 37.5 percent.

That is hundreds of billions of dollars of increased American economic activity and we all benefit.

If several hundred billion dollars is modest, what does the writer consider a significant deal?

Sleazeball Media:

Anything Obama did was “unprecedented”, “amazing”, or “strong leadership”

Anything Trump does is “modest”, “ordinary”, “nothing special”

Got it. No bias here at all!!!

I guess the market is easily distracted. It seemed to react to the “modest” deal.

Ahh, I love the smell of alternate reality in the morning. It smells like, desperation.

While I tend to dispute Politico’s assertion of “ modest” economic benefits of President Trumps trade negotiations and deals, it is beyond dispute that that Trump’s Phase 1 trade pact with China is earth shattering in its significance.

Its the first rational trade pact with China that actually takes America’s strategic interests into account and takes the first steps at addressing China’s predatory trade and monetary policies and practices. All previous trade pacts were sell outs that set the stage for the economic decline of the United States.

Furthermore, Trumps trade policies are critical to future global stability because they will force China to curb it’s aggressive, neo Imperialist policy to build a military capable of dominating Asia via force and intimidation while at the same time forcing China to focus on developing its economy to benefit the Chinese people, the vast majority of whom have been left out of Chinas economic explosion.

“Trumportunities.”

It is the idea that, whether by accident or design, Trump creates chances to solve long-running international problems that a conventional leader would not.

His bellicose isolationist agenda, for instance, might already be forcing Europe to confront its geopolitical weakness;

China, its need for a lasting economic settlement with the U.S.;

Countries throughout the Middle East, the limits of their power.

The president’s erratic behavior might be doing something else as well, something even more fundamental. Through a combination of instinct, temperament, and capriciousness, Trump may be reminding the world of the reality of international relations:

Raw military and economic power still matter more than anything else—so long as those who hold them are prepared to use them.

A term has been coined to describe this notion:

Ryan Evans of War on the Rocks calls them “Trumportunities.”

From yesterday:

Politico changed its original headline about the bill's passage from "Senate passes USMCA in major win for Trump" to "Senate passes USMCA, but much work remains."

Fake news. Total propaganda for the Democrats.
