I was a little cranked out because this was the greatest era of Motown hits, but I do see that black performers are represented approximately equal to their group's percentage of population from 1961 onward, so at least there's that. Without a doubt, there was strong African American influence in many, many of the other selections. (I am mostly Scots-Irish American, btw, and I loved to dance to the pop tunes back in the day!)

Overall, great memories! I could hum almost all of them just from seeing the titles. Thanks, the OlLine Rebel!
