I would suggest that news hasn’t been the same since Frank Reynolds died (1983). During the Reagan assassination episode, this was the guy looking only for facts....no speculation, no wild scenarios, just facts.

I hadn’t thought of Frank Reynolds in years. It is hard to imagine a journalist with the mainstream media just getting the facts and reporting them. It’s a different world now.
