How can you convince them Trump is a good guy? From the little you have said, you seem to already know you can’t. Don’t even bother trying.
If they have some redeeming values, or are otherwise intelligent or interesting, then visit them, and don’t talk politics.
If not, then avoid them. I have one or two relatives who I find so annoying, I avoid them at all costs. I don’t advertise it in the family, as I don’t want to be divisive
