“The only song that I ever really loved by the Stones was Angie. “

Never cared for that, too balad-y. The Stones forte is blues and straight up rock.

“Love Paint It Black. Reminds me of Vietnam... though my tour of Vietnam consisted of sitting in the bottom of my dads balls sack the whole time.”

If most the comments on Youtube 60s-70s music videos were honest, they’d read pretty much like that.
Keef does an intro at the link, where he tells us to “Say stafe.” Lol.
When he finally goes, there’s going to be a hell of a fight over his estate.
LOL - yeah, we should follow Keef's example. I don't think I'd last 24 hours.
Good bluesy stuff. Mick really nails those harmonica riffs.
I'm with you here, a great song by a great band that came and went too fast.

A good ballad is actually hard to pull off because any mistakes will stick out like a sore thumb. We all have our preferences though. That is human nature.
* Sticky Fingers
(Wild Horses, Dead Flowers, Can't you Hear Me Knockin'?)
True, I’m not a ballad fan in general.
Fun fact: Mick’s got a GREAT GRANDCHILD who is older than his most recent child.
Oh, my.
How old is Mick’s most recent? How old is his great-grandchild?
Shattered is the perfect song for NYC right now.
“What’s your favorite Stones album”?
Let It Bleed-———all of it!
The lawyers will make out well. You know how much money will be spent trying to get that money?
I was reading an interview with Keith Richards in a magazine and in the interview Keith Richards intimated that kids should not do drugs.
Keith Richards... says that kids should not do drugs.
Keith, we can't do any more drugs because you already did them all, all right? There's none left! We have to wait 'til you die and smoke your ashes!
-Dennis Leary
Although I like the Stones, I liked the Specials original version of this song better.
