I thought the film did point out the hypocrisy that some of us have seen for years in the green movement. Decades even in the case of Al Gore. They do highlight how many corporations and billionaires are involved in the green movement. Follow the money. They also correctly pointed out how the “green solutions” pushed as the solution to the problem are far worse. That is true.
I disagree vehemently with the underlying premise presented in the film (the planet will crash because of us) and found the only “real solution” offered by the film was a massive depopulation event as the film concludes there are “simply too many people for the planet.” That seems to be a pretty extreme solution.
My other take..... why do billionaires continue to fund this nonsense? These people absolutely hate billionaires.

George Carlin nailed these folks long before Moore did.
In 2050, the projected population of Earth will be 9 billion. All 9 billion people could be placed in the state of Texas with 4 football fields between each person. The genocidal Malthusian fear mongers never seem to grasp just how insignificant we are compared to the scale of the Earth.
It’s amazing how vindictive they are.
I watched it the other day, it seems that Moore has had a come to Jesus moment and clearly and succinctly exposes the Fraud called the Green New Deal.
I expect it to be in elementary schools next month/s
