Trump's finest speech -- and a press that beclowns itself in boiling hate
The American Thinker ^ | 07/04/2020 | Monica Showalter

President Trump delivered the speech of his presidency at Mount Rushmore Friday, a magnificent affirmation to Americans on their 244th national birthday that what they have always cherished is still cherished, along with a warning shot to those who hate and despise all the United States stands for. It was non-partisan -- there was no mention of Democrats or Joe Biden. It was inclusive - celebratory of people of all races, and celebratory in particular of the singularity of America being great for such diversity. It was also big-hearted, magnanimous, celebrating all the ranges achievements of the country. Yet it also did the thing Trump does best, which is to call out and identify authentic enemies, stating that he knows who they are, what their game is, and that he won't let them win. In this era that was necessary shadow.

Trump began by restating the entire meaning of the holiday:

Our founders launched not only a revolution in government, but a revolution in the pursuit of justice, equality, liberty, and prosperity. No nation has done more to advance the human condition than the United States of America and no people have done more to promote human progress than the citizens of our great nation. It was all made possible by the courage of 56 patriots who gathered in Philadelphia 244 years ago and signed the Declaration of Independence. They enshrined a divine truth that changed the world forever when they said, "All men are created equal." These immortal words set in motion the unstoppable march of freedom. Our founders boldly declared that we are all endowed with the same divine rights, given us by our Creator in Heaven, and that which God has given us, we will allow no one ever to take away...

Has anyone else noticed the complete blackout in the news, even from Fox, this morning, of the 3 hour stand-off with the protesters who blocked the road into Mt. Rushmore.

I believe it was his finest hour—Best speech he has given—and he has give many. Let this be the real start of the campaign. The Commie/Liberal (AKA Democratic Party) and their allies in the Media but brand it racist hate speech and urge their people Not to listen or read it. Anything good and decent is labeled as “Racist.” They are over using that epithet to a point where it is becoming meaningless.

We said it was a great speech, as well.

However, his “on notice” speech for the inauguration was amazing.

“I believe it was his finest hour—Best speech he has given—and he has give many. Let this be the real start of the campaign.”

I think the tone he struck last night was spot on, and this should be the model for every campaign rally going forward. It was a “morning in America” speech that was unifying, stood firm on freedom, and refused to bow the knee to the woke mob.

I think it was also a thinly-veiled call to arms for lily-livered Republican “leaders” to get off their asses and start pushing back on the insanity we’ve all been subjected to.

the rot has to be cleansed.
These are the challengers:the UN and the obamian alliance
Go read Carlos the Jackal for his opinion of how to bring down the west.
He acknowledged that Marxism by itself could not bring down the west , nor could islam; but an alliance, a coalition of the two could. Obama was both a marxist and a muslim... and a lying radical at that.
Black lies matter and Antifa are a part of this globalist gang of thugs.... which are locally called the “resistance” by Hillary.
The obamian /hillary alliance agenda needs to be whacked. They have nothing better to replace the American way with.

As President Trump stated... the American way created the greatest nation on the earth through liberty rights and freedom.

Nobody else on the planet did anything better.

Great. He gives the “ speech of his life” on the night when the entire country was watching Hamilton on Disney Plus.

The speech will be talked about and rebroadcast, and will get publicity, even to those who didn’t watch it live.

I got that, too, from this part:

They would tear down the beliefs, culture and identity, that have made America the most vibrant and tolerant society in the history of the earth. My fellow Americans, it is time to speak up loudly and strongly and powerfully and defend the integrity of our country.

It is time for our politicians to summon the bravery and determination of our American ancestors. It is time. It is time to plant our flag and to protect the greatest of this nation for citizens of every race in every city in every part of this glorious land. For the sake of our honor, for the sake of our children, for the sake of our union, we must protect and preserve our history, our heritage, and our great heroes.

I saw it live. RSB was the only media on scene for most of it. It should be on their full feed at utube.

Usually, the “press” writes their comments about President Trump’s speeches long before President Trumps says anything.

I wonder if there is some software that would play back that same speech, but in Obama’s voice so we could hear the media gush over what an erudite statesman and nation-healer he is.

I have no doubt the software exists - in the hands of the Marxists.

It was a fine speech, a great speech in message. However, the President was preaching to the choir. As a political speech, it was window dressing.
He needs to up the political game ASAP.
