Perfect quote
“America does not need to see the tax returns of a billionaire that became a public servant. America needs to see the tax returns of the public servants that became millionaires while being public servants!”
BRAVO!!!!! WELL SAID!!!!!
I would much rather see financial records of all the Congress critters that have become millionaires being public servants.

Yes. The court recognized that there is a competition between the two branches of government. This so-called separation of powers. Now, it is true that Congress has subpoena power, but it is not a prosecutorial entity. In other words it can request records but it cannot act on them in a prosecutorial role.
Now it is also true that if Congress utilizes its subpoena power it must be for a legislative purpose, not as a Witch Hunt, not as a veiled criminal investigation. In the past, this was an understanding. After the Supreme Court ruling, it is now distinctly codified .....in other words should Congress desire The subpoena of these records, it does indeed have that right. But to support that right, it must show that its subpoena will be for a legitimate legislative purpose. And that is almost impossible, because we do not allow laws to be enacted for the purpose of going after just one person. That’s about the most succinct explanation I can come up with.
The Supreme Court, as a result of its decision, codified and specified the exact conditions under which Congress May utilize its subpoena power. Until this decision this was only an understanding. Now it is a distinct table of requirements the Congress will have to come up with and specify in order to proceed with a subpoena request since there is no conceivable legislative function for them to go rummaging around in Trump’s records. This decision actually makes it almost impossible for them to do so.
At this Trump should turn off the electricity for Congress, both bodies. He can turn it back on when he’s signed their budget for it.

I fully believe that as soon as he leaves office, either DOJ, or the State of New York will prosecute him. They will literally do the handcuffs on TV thing, and will do all they can to get him sentenced to prison.
And then all bets are off. We will unquestionably be a police state, and anything goes.
Scum Democrats will hound him to the grave.
And gutless Republican politicians will say nothing.
