He needs to hold on to Twitter at least through the election. Despite the censorship he has a huge following of 84M people. After he wins re-election he can lead the transition of millions of users from Twitter to Parler. Can’t do It right now.
I think he should set up at least a dormant account with the likes of Parler right now. The trajectory of Twitter and their co-conspirators seems to be leading to a total black-out some time in mid-October. The Trump team needs to armor up against the suppression tactics that will surely follow a transition to another platform.
