When I first heard the term antifa I pronounced it with the emphasis on the first two syllables/word, as in ANTI-matter.

That is how I still pronounce it. As I explained to my wife when she “corrected me” I told her “Well, that may be how THEY want to pronounce it, but I'll put the emphasis on ANTI. They are anti-American, Anti First Amendment and Anti God.”
