The moderators all claim that they want to talk about issues, then harass Trump when he answers, and let's Biden get away with not answering the questions honestly. But trump can bring the pressure to Biden, and call him out. That's why the debate is important.
Yes. Mike Pence actually took a big step in that direction. The moderator would ask about Climate Change (or whatever) and Pence just calmly said, "I'll get to that, but I want to respond to what my opponent said about the Supreme Court …"
Pence covered what he wanted to cover, in his own good time.
President Trump does a fine job but Pence is no slouch and there are lessons to be learned from the VP debate.
The question is about BREXIT? "Thanks for asking about child pornography. I agree it's a problem. And while we're talking about Hunter Biden, let me just say …"
"Why are we talking about Covid for the 100th time ... why don't you ask Joe about the corruption in government that he has been involved in for the last 47 years? ... I'll tell you why you won't ask him, because you are in the tank for him, you are a totally biased moderator, and your objective tonight is to make me look bad and Sleepy Joe look good."
Then when the moderator interrupts him, Trump could say “To quote Kamala Harris, ‘I’m still speaking’“. I know that won’t hapoen, but I do want him to pivot away from discussions of DNC agenda topics like climate change. How many Americans really have climate change as a major concern?
“The Commission on Presidential Debates must be destroyed. The time to do it is now. Just schedule a rally in Minnesota or Wisconsin or Pennsylvania for Thursday night and stop pretending any of this is legitimate.”
Schedule a rally in Brooklyn for Thursday night. That will drive the libs nuts.
Actually, it would be stoopid. Pres Trump can say what he wishes, despite the questions.
I agree Climate Change is a waste of time. Trump needs to be armed with the facts about how under his administration things have gotten much cleaner and that China, the country giving Hunter billions, is still polluting.
According to Frank Fahrenkopf, the guy who runs the Commission of Presidential Debates, neither campaign has any say in how the debates are set up. The CPD makes all the decisions, without input from either campaign. The only thing agreed to is whether the candidates want to show up or not.
I am looking forward to Trump’s interview on WED night on the CW channel.
Disagree with the article. Trump needs to show up and repeatedly ask Biden: “Joe, I’ve seen confusing numbers, did you get 10% or 50%?”
Just keep asking Joe “10% or 50%?” He will go berserk!!!!
That was my first thought....especially since an online search found that the NC rally was announced two days prior.
Biden is gonna play cat and mouse until Election Day.
