Amazing comments by Van Jones, who served under Obama.

“I think it’s really unfortunate because Donald Trump, and I get beat up by liberals every time I say it but I keep saying it, he has done good stuff for the Black community,” Jones fired back.

“Opportunity Zone stuff, Black college stuff, I worked with him on criminal stuff, I saw Donald Trump have African American people, formally incarcerated, in the White House, embraced them, treated them well,” he continued.

“There is a side to Donald Trump that I think he does not get enough credit for.”

From his Wiki:

In March 2009 Jones was appointed as Special Advisor for Green Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation at the White House Council on Environmental Quality.[4] Jones, while an ardent supporter of President Barack Obama, had not planned on working for his administration.

He has met with the President regarding Criminal reform.

Wikipedia:

“In May 2018, Jones and other members of #cut50 met with Jared Kushner and President Donald Trump at the White House to discuss a criminal justice reform bill.[106]”

That got results.

If you denounce you are much less likely to be able to work with them. He would be more effective if he got real about the true nature of socialism and communism and renounced them.
