(Updated) Activating the Nuclear Option Against the Treasonous Swamp
The Donald (WIN) ^ | 16 December 2020 | resistant

Please bear with me as I struggle once again to order my thoughts in a chaotic situation.

First, let's get right to the meat of the matter with the following excerpts from an illustrative essay posted at Substack on 18 November 2020 by one Alexander Macris:

https://macris.substack.com/p/trump-at-the-rubicon/

[excerpted text begins]

Trump at the RubiconHow the Insurrection Act and Militia Act Empower Trump to Cast the Die

[... snip ...]

Like Caesar, Trump now must fight for victory or lose everything. Come January 2021, will Donald Trump decide to cast the die and cross the Rubicon? He might.

The same people who warned us that Trump is worse than Hitler will now scoff: “Donald Trump is no Caesar!” That’s true. Trump is in a much better position than Caesar was.

Unlike Caesar, Trump can cross the Rubicon legally. He need violate no sacred law. He has all of the legal power he needs to act and win. Congress has given it to him. All he needs to do is invoke the Insurrection Act.

[... snip ...]

That’s powerful language! Consider:

• The authority is vested solely in the President. He does not need the invitation of state governors to intervene, nor does he need the approval of the Supreme Court. Older provisions of the Insurrection Act required either a governor or a judicial proceeding to authorize its use, but these limits were purposefully removed by Congress in § 253.

• There is no time limit on the President’s activities. Older versions of the Insurrection Act limited the use of force to brief periods of time and then required legislative approval. Those limits, too, are also gone.

• The President is allowed to use any means that he (and again, he needs no one else) considers necessary. This includes using the armed forces (which enables him to bypass the Posse Comitatus Act) and using the militia (which we’ll discuss in more detail below).

• The President’s ability to use force isn’t restricted to actual rebellion or insurgency. He can act against merely unlawful combinations and conspiracies. To be clear: If the President decides that a conspiracy has deprived people of a right and believes that authorities fail or refuse to protect the right, he can send in the troops.

In blunt terms, Congress has given the power to President Trump to proclaim:

“I, President Trump, have determined that a conspiracy has deprived 70 million Americans of their right to vote and that the other authorities are refusing to protect this right. I therefore order the suppression of this conspiracy by any means necessary.”

And with that, Trump will cross the Rubicon.

[... snip ...]

[excerpted text ends]

Well, now — in light of recent and ongoing mysterious developments with the U.S. military leadership and repeated pronouncements from loyalists to the President that time is running out for the swamp creatures — "Never-Trumpers" and outright Marxist enemies alike — who contemptuously disdain the legitimate choices of We the People who overwhelmingly reelected President Donald J. Trump, it's hard to not feel ground tremors from what may be coming.

For the sake of rounding out the picture, please also consider the following excerpt from an article that in my humble opinion neatly summarizes the current "legalistic" reality facing Mr. Trump's reelection team:

https://americanthinker.com/articles/2020/12/trumps_end_game.html

[excerpted text begins]

[... snip ...]

The rules for choosing between competing electors are vague. Congress may choose not to count states with two sets of electors, which automatically means neither candidate reaches the necessary 270 electoral votes. This is never-before-traveled terrain.

The resulting deadlock would make Congress unable to announce a winner.

Then the matter will go, per the Constitution, exclusively to the House of Representatives, where each state will get only one vote and where Republican states outnumber Democratic states. Voila! Trump is reelected.

This is where the multiple lawsuits and their voluminous affidavits and experts’ declarations pay off.

The alternate pro-Trump electors in seven swing states are the fruit of all the lawsuits. The lawsuits allowed all the charges of fraud to be aired and the public -- and elected officials -- to learn just how badly Democrats behaved.

Anything filed in court is privileged, which protects the plaintiffs. Without lawsuits, accusing anyone of fraud would have been very risky, and probably gotten Trump's people sued for libel. What his campaign would be shy to say outside of court became protected speech

when said in lawsuits.

This means the court shuffle has been a dance for show, not for immediate results. All the players know what's been going on. They've each played out their scripts for the public's benefit. For Republicans the lawsuit flurry got their case aired and launched other

investigations to reveal even more crimes to provide ammo to pull the trigger on what really matters: Congress tallying Electoral College votes and the final House of Representative vote, one per state.

I suspect all along this been the Trump team’s intention. They aren’t stupid. They knew the courts weren’t going to overturn a national election a mere five weeks after voting. Not even in one state. Not even a blatantly crooked state (emphasis added by poster).

What's really been going on is they have made their "case" in the court of public opinion, which is the one that carries real weight with politicians, even with SCOTUS.

It's worked pretty well. Half the nation is persuaded the election was rigged. That wouldn't have happened with just mainstream press coverage and no lawsuits. In a real sense, power still lies with the people. We're about to find out how much power.

[... snip ...]

[excerpted text ends]

This cynical yet hopeful political analysis would have it that the President's people do in fact know what they're doing when it comes to slugging it out in the courts. I personally find it convincing but freely admit that I'm just one more poor schlub with a severely clouded crystal ball. -_-

In any case, with the cowardly betrayal by Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and so many others in the GOPe in refusing to raise serious constitutional and legal objections against acceding to the fraudulent elevation of Gropey Joe and Heels-Up Ho to the White House, Mr. Trump is at a crossroads. Somewhere between now and the drop-dead date of 20 January 2021, Mr. Trump must decide how to proceed with restoring the Republic in the face of a truly frightening and immeasurably corrupt power grab by outright Marxists and their weak-kneed allies of convenience. Various commentators have suggested 18 December 2020 as a possible trigger point associated with the impending release of an intelligence report on foreign interference with the 2020 elections. The momentous date of 6 January 2021 is obviously another, perhaps far more compelling, trigger point for direct action against a nationwide conspiracy of intent against legitimately reelected President Donald J. Trump and further against an entire nation of bewildered, outraged, and increasingly furious American patriots.

For what it's worth, I'd suggest that it might be an excellent idea for millions of patriots to mail short physical letters to President Donald J. Trump in the near future, clearly stating vehement support for the President in this historic endeavor. There's no need to include anything beyond simple, heartfelt support for exercising any and all legal options for defeating a mind-bogglingly brazen power grab. It's become crystal-clear by now that invoking the Insurrection Act and the Militia Act, if that path becomes truly necessary, is an extremely viable tool for returning a stolen election to We the People and for arresting and duly prosecuting a wide swathe of bad actors. The President is a strong-willed, principled man, an unexpected hero who stands tall in our strange times, but he's still a man who must feel alone at times even with a wonderful family and millions of patriots cheering him on at rallies.

Few people bother to send actual letters in this age of texting, Skyping, emailing, and tweeting, so a flood of old-fashioned physical letters could very well help hearten the President to move forward decisively with drastic measures in his lonely battle against the enormous national betrayal of We the People by the smirking elites who value their plush positions over the lives of the tens of millions of ordinary Americans who work hard to feed their families and to defend the last, best hope for liberty that is the United States of America.

Edit: I'm reluctant to be so presumptuous as to suggest wording, but if any pedes here ask for it, I'll write up a sample letter that could serve as the starting point for a more personal expression of support for the GEOTUS. Trust me on this, that letter will be much less wordy than my latest post here at TheDonald.win. :-)

Unless much of the media are shut down as foreign collaborators in an effort to defraud the voting public and destroy our Republic.

Trump has to do it no later than Jan 6th but i would advise the week between Christmas and New year’s when the Congress is off partying.

Reading the word Rubicon, made me think of John Adams, who like President Trump, because he could be direct, fiery, fierce & to the point, in his commitment to the establishment of America (USA), he was disliked in the Congressional Congress and also, disliked later on when he served as the 2nd President of the USA. Yet without John Adams, being a firebrand in support of independence, perhaps some would have given in and we would still be a British colony. Seems to me we must be committed to protecting our great nation from the communist/socialists within our government, for they are antithesis to what has made America, the USA, a great nation of freedom and choice. A light in the world for those seeking a better way of living.

Well, I don’t see that happening on the DemoCommie watch. They’re too beholden to their media allies and corporate sponsors.
