I thought I heard him say today that he did NOT resign.
“NBC’s report of his reason is FAKE News. His stated reason is the Change in Administrations. Typically, all serving Cabinet members submit their resignations to the New president. Azar decided to submit it now rather than wait for Biden to take over. NBC just chose to add their own rational.”

Yep. If I was serving now I too would prefer to submit my end of Administration resignation to President Trump rather than to the Deliverance Banjo Boy Biden.

Like most of us, I am intellectually exhausted by what has happened. I misinterpreted what Extremely Extreme Extremist was saying as more democrat-socialist disinformation.
I have to remember to follow the Bongino rule: wait a day of so to make sure the allegation is confirmed by reliable sources before believing anything we read on line. (or something like that) 8)
