Is it the banks’ idea?
Or were they told, behind the scenes, that any relationship with Trump could lead to increased scrutiny from government regulatory agencies?
Why would they need to be told that? When the nomenklatura have decreed an individual to be an enemy of the people, everyone knows that failure to treat that person as such will result in being deemed anti-social, and hence an enemy of the people yourself.
That system may be new to the United States, but the folks who run big banks are sharp boys and girls, and they know the score.
