I’m sure this worker already knows that. But the union leadership does what it wants, when it wants. The wishes of the membership mean nothing.
So how does the leadership stay in power? I was a union member for 30 years, and I could tell you stories that would make Stalin blush.
I used to have this fight with Hubby’s union prez all the time. How the heck can you support Democrats who want to raise wages, etc.....then raise taxes more than the wages rose? What good does that do us?! He is a friend who finally got tired of the political bs a year ago and just quit.
Sorry, I don’t trust blue collars. Most are not real conservatives. They may be conservative on this issue, they may be rabidly conservative compared to other countries, but at the end of the day, they vote their own issues.
