For the media, the importance is to get The Narrative out first and embed it in the public’s consciousness - later, they’ll walk it back - with an “update” on the 20th page in the 27th paragraph.
Keeping the narrative going is the most important thing. They’re also spoiling for a war with Russia.
The CIA’S motto is “LIE, LIE, LIE, and LIE some more...” with some facts thrown in to make it look like everything the CIA says said/and the CIA’S supposed conclusion(s) etc. look “true” for Anything/Everything.
