Joe Biden on Monday delivered a short speech on his Afghanistan disaster.
After mumbling through prepared remarks, blaming Trump and the Afghan security forces on his botched withdrawal, Biden fled the lectern without taking any questions from reporters.
Biden delivered the worst speech ever, said he stands by his decision to hastily withdraw from Afghanistan and admitted it ‘unfolded more quickly that he anticipated.’

So, his response to this situation was to take 10 minutes to give a speech that didn’t even address the crises.

Kind of makes you wonder why he bothered in the first place.
Scary though, because the best answer to that question is that he has lost touch with all reality and with public opinion, both at the same time.

In dopey joe's defense, despite being accused of being a shuffling old man, I've never seen him skip to my Lou so energetically as he did to get away from the press pool's questions. Probably broke a record. And a hip....

Simply because it was a box that had to be checked. And now Circleback and others can say, "Biden addressed the American people on that..." Biden is attempting to spin this as to whether we should or should not stay in Afghanistan. That point is totally moot. THe issue is Biden's complete withdrawal disaster that unfolded in front of the whole world. Yeah, he gave a 10 minute speech and then ran away like a coward.

Predictable. He gave his press something they can understand and run with. What else could he have done? The problem is that he’s damaged by this, mainly because he just said it wouldn’t happen.
