A new CDC study found that TWICE AS MANY Americans had COVID immunity than previous estimates.
That means the mortality rate is cut in half. For some reason they are just finding this out now?
And yet they demand you believe their ever-changing “science” and treatment plans.

CDC admits twice as many people had covid as previously thought. Which means death rates are half.
It also means covid is less lethal which means the category of death with covid becomes even dumber.
Which means deaths are far lower.
Also where did the flu go? pic.twitter.com/o0CCfT3gBE

CNN reported:
More than 80% of Americans 16 and older have some level of immunity against the coronavirus, mostly through vaccination, a survey of blood donations indicates. The survey, led by the CDC, also indicates that about twice as many people have been infected with the virus as have been officially counted. More than 39 million Americans have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection since the pandemic started in 2020.
The team, led by the CDC’s Dr. Jefferson Jones, set out to determine how close the US might be to some kind of herd immunity — although they do not claim to have any kind of handle on that yet.
They worked with 17 blood collection organizations working in all 50 states plus Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico to test blood covering 74% of the population. In the end, they tested about 1.4 million samples.
Ahhh- a CDC spokesperson has spoken- Thansk for your input- Pssst- we’re finding out that not all deaths attributed to covid died from covid- but keep spinning for the CDC
[[650,000 in the US have died of Covid.]]
BS!
No vax. In my 50s. Slight cough, low-grade fever, body aches. Tested positive. Only took one full day off work (I work from home). Went to bed early every night and slept all night. Tested negative 10 days later. Other than that, I would say it was slightly worse than a cold, not as bad as the ‘flu.
OK, thanks! Good to know.... :)

“Please re-read the sentence you quoted, only SLOWLY: “They worked with 17 blood collection organizations working in all 50 states....””
What percentage of the population do you think never go to blood collection sites?
What percentage of the population has never been polled about an election? There are ways to see if your sample is representative.

Yeah ok- ...
“Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Dr. Robert Redfield acknowledged Friday that the number of COVID-19 deaths could be inflated where someone who had the virus actually died from something else, but it was recorded as a COVID death.”
“I asked him a question last time he was here, and we didn’t have a time to continue our discussion with regards to the sort of perverse incentive for medical folks to claim that somebody died of COVID versus if it’s an automobile accident for instance, as long as you have COVID in your system, you can blame COVID and which means you get more money as the attending physician, hospital, whatever,” the congressman said.
Well Ring Dang Doodle.
Its not much worse than the flu.
survival rate of 99.96%?
Your numbers are a little low. Based on the CDC’s own published numbers at the “CoVID Virus Tracker”, it’s 99.98378060639944% survival.
https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#datatracker-home
643,405 deaths
39,668,869 have/had CoVID
That’s a death rate of 0.0162193936005587%.
But, that’s using my old math - no idea what “new” or “new new” math would come up with as the answer.
i used the figure from last year- it was an overall number for all categories- sick and healthy combined- for the sick, i think the % is a bit lower- but still over 90%
https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#datatracker-home
Based on the CDC’s own numbers published here, the death rate is MUCH lower than .04% even - it’s 0.0162193936005587%.
That means a survival rate of 99.98378060639944%, from the CDC’s “trusted” numbers.
thank you for the link though- i will update to the new figure- as it shows the virus is even more survivable now than what they once said-
The 650,000 dead ‘from covid’ that the fella up-thread claimed is a very dubious figure, which people who lie about the lethality of covid like to throw out there- they don’t distinguish between ‘died with covid’ and ‘died from covid’- and they like to lump all deaths in together to make it seem far more lethal than it is- while it is lethal to some- it’s a very small % as you point out with the correct figure- -
And now we learn that the CDC even overestimated a lot- so it’s likely an even higher survival rate than 99.983...% because now they are starting to be a little honest about distinguishing between ‘with’ and ‘from’ -
Math is tough when you are cheating.
imagine that...
why should anyone trust the centers for disease control when they refuse to warn us about the dangers of biden opening the border and spreading hundreds of thousands of disease carrying invaders across our country during a “global pandemic”???...

[[100.00% minus 99.96% is .04%. .04% times 330 million people is 132,000. 650,000 in the US have died of Covid. .2% of the country has already died of it. How can it have a death rate of .04% if .2% of the country is already dead from it?]]
That’s what the ‘new math’ would come up with- of course one has to include ALL deaths from people ‘WITH’ covid, regardless of how the people died, in order to get those ‘scary figures’ of ‘.2’
So to calculate the new mortality rate from Covid :
what’s half of .03%?
Time for one of our visiting free republic guests to post a picture of somebody on a ventilator.
I’ve got sleep apnea and several CPAP machines... we can always rig it to look “bad” with machines in tandem, striving to push enough air into my lungs...
That rose to 11.5% by December, they reported in the medical journal JAMA.
By May, 83.3% of samples had antibodies to the virus, most of them from vaccination.“
