U.S. health regulators on Wednesday authorized the first pill against COVID-19, a Pfizer drug that Americans will be able to take at home to head off the worst effects of the virus.
The oral drug, Paxlovid, is a faster, cheaper way to treat early COVID-19 infections, though initial supplies will be extremely limited. All of the previously authorized drugs against the disease require an IV or an injection.
An antiviral pill from Merck also is expected to soon win authorization. But Pfizer's drug is all but certain to be the preferred option because of its mild side effects and superior effectiveness, including a nearly 90% reduction in hospitalizations and deaths among patients most likely to get severe disease.
The efficacy is high, the side effects are low and it's oral. It checks all the boxes," said Dr. Gregory Poland of the Mayo Clinic. "You're looking at a 90% decreased risk of hospitalization and death in a high-risk group -- that's stunning."

It’s another protease inhibitor, almost chemically identical to ivermectin.
Just different enough to be patented.
They publish the formula.
It’s almost exactly invermectin.
Hope someone can put the ingredients side by side so we know exactly what’s going on.

Is it really Ivermectin?
I’ll be very interested in what doctors like McCullough, Malone and Zelenko have to say about this.
They publish the formula in the patent application.
In fact, it’s already published.
It’s like one carbon group away from ivermectin.
And if you don't have a disease they can monetize, they want to give you a disease they can.
Were the trials only on the unvaccinated? Because they previously claimed their vaccine was 95% effective.
That was my first thought. HCQ and IVM are dirt cheap, easy to manufacture, have no patents, and are safe. I think HCQ and IVM are around $10-30.
This one? According to the article, $500. If you can get it.
I’m looking forward to hearing more about this drug, sounds hopeful. If it passes muster, perhaps the PTB should just make available to everyone to keep on hand for immediate use upon a positive test.
“U.S. health regulators...” Who the hell are the health regulators? I didn’t tell them to regulate anything, little unelected bureaucratic pin heads no doubt. Or perhaps they’re on Dr. Mengele’s staff?
This Administration is desperate for a way out of the mess created by the Fascist Fauci and my guess is this is it. Once they release the pills to everyone they will stop the testing or else will begin reporting a huge drop in the positive results.
Then they will claim victory and the scamdemic will be over
