Uh, what?
Gettr, Clouthub, and Gab are generally trash platforms. Parler is the worst. This one beats them all.
Fake it until you make it. What else does anyone expect from a tech company?
Here’s my experience:
I was permabanned from Twitter about 3 years ago for an anti-burka meme. I had approx 15K followers at the time.
I joined Gab about then, and I’m still on it.
I also have tried Minds and Parler, but I never got any interaction at all and I quit posting on them. It was yelling into an empty room.
I deleted my own Facebook account at the end of 2020 because I did not want to be one of Zuckerberg’s minions.
A few months ago when it started up I joined Gettr, and to help get things moving, I have followed anybody who followed or reposted me there.
Now I dual-post the same content (mostly news links and memes) on Gab and Gettr.
Maybe Gettr will last, and get much bigger, but as for now I still get about 20X the interactions on Gab than I get on Gettr. That is, if a meme or link gets 20 reposts on Gab, I’m lucky to get 1 repost on Gettr.
But least I get some interaction on the new Gettr platform, which is more than I can say about Parler or Minds.
I hope both Gab and Gettr flourish. The point of the exercise is to build the force of millions of “Joe Normies” into a force on the level with Big Tech. 10K “Joe Normies” sharing links creates a viral chain reaction, and suddenly, in the aggregate, “Joe Normie” is a major player.
That’s why I do what I do, including here on the Freep. It’s to be a cog in the conservative content force-multiplying engine.
