Joe Biden Tries to Blame Inflation on Republicans, His Senility Bites Him in the Backside

The latest inflation report isn’t quite out yet, but it’s fair to assume it’s not going to be pretty. Inflation hit 8.5 percent in March, and April is promising to top 9 percent as prices continue to skyrocket across the country. The cost of a gallon of gas hit a new record high, and anyone who’s been to a grocery store in the last six months can attest to how dire the situation is.

Yet, what I think makes matters all the worse is that there’s no hope on the horizon. We do not have a president who is capable of pulling the economy out of this mess, and that’s mostly because Joe Biden is responsible for putting the economy in this mess. Any “solutions” he’s proposed have only promised to accelerate the pain.

That sad reality was on full display as Biden spoke on inflation on Tuesday morning. Ironically, while the president tried to dodge responsibility for his myriad failures, his senility jumped up and bit him in the backside, causing him to admit the obvious.

NOW – Biden on responsibility for inflation: "We're in power… We control all three branches of the government. Well, we don't really."pic.twitter.com/fgKtdJwLTg

— Disclose.tv (@disclosetv) May 10, 2022

Biden: "The number one threat is the strength, and that strength that we've built is inflation." pic.twitter.com/Tgpeao1Of7

— Greg Price (@greg_price11) May 10, 2022

At first, I just laughed at this. Then I remembered that this person is the President of the United States and that inflation isn’t actually a laughing matter. The high cost of living is crushing the middle class, and it’s disheartening to know that the person most able to affect the path of the US economy is so far gone that he can’t even manage to lie properly. Here he’s trying to brag about the supposed strength of his economy and manages to admit that all he’s managed to build is inflation. So I guess the proper response here is to laugh and then cry.

In the other clip, we see Biden realize that he stepped on his own talking point by saying that his party has total power before fumbling about, asserting otherwise. But Democrats do own all three branches of government, and by virtue, they own whatever happens in the nation. That’s what being in power means. Parties don’t get to be in power and then pretend they aren’t in control.

Past the mental breakdowns, when the president did manage to read his teleprompter properly, he delivered ridiculous lines like this.

BIDEN: Republicans "don't want to solve inflation by lowering your costs. They want to solve it by raising your taxes and lowering your income." pic.twitter.com/fnus8HVLEY

— Townhall.com (@townhallcom) May 10, 2022

It is a total lie that Republicans want to “raise taxes” and lower the income of Americans. In fact, it’s such a lie that even Glenn Kessler, the notoriously biased fact-checker at The Washington Post, has said that it’s a lie.

For context, Sen. Rick Scott of Florida did propose, on his own via a statement (not a filed bill), some kind of minimum tax so everyone has skin in the game. That proposal has zero support. The leadership is not behind it, it’s not going to come up for a vote, and I haven’t seen a single other Republican say they want to enact it. In short, there is no truth to the idea that the GOP wants to raise taxes.

Lastly, I’ll end with a clip of Biden just being his general creepy self.

Biden: "I know you're frustrated. I can taste it." pic.twitter.com/Xuaiy3WPay

— Greg Price (@greg_price11) May 10, 2022

I’m not sure I want Biden tasting anything around me, but I digress.

We are long past the point of Biden’s statements being pathetic. When a president is failing this badly, it is a terrible look to take to the podium and continually make excuses. Americans want leadership right now. They want a plan. They don’t want lies about Republicans wanting to raise taxes. Biden will not give them those things, though, because that would mean admitting he’s wrong and changing course. He’s too controlled by his far-left handlers for that to happen.

Parties don’t get to be in power and then pretend they aren’t in control.

Remember when Obama was always talking about some distant, nebulous, flailing presidency conveniently ignoring the fact that HE WAS THE PRESIDENT? The Dems play that game all the time. Unfortunately, it often works.

When you’re in charge of ushering in The Great Reset, for America ...

....and, you can’t remember what day it is, or why you’re standing up at a podium trying to read a dadburn TelePrompter.

I should make a meme of that. :-)

The Democrats tax and spend - it’s what they do - the spending goes to their cronies and the taxes fall on the producing class.

Republicans haven’t done well on the spending front since Reagan, Trump was great at reducing regulations and lowering taxes. Spending not so much…

President Trump wasn’t supposed to win. President Trump won larger than hitlery had cheated I am of the firm opinion hitlery was supposed to create this economy and President Trump showed the obama years of 2% growth to be lies. The lamestream media, the democrats and the rinos installed biden to do what hitlery wasn’t allowed to do. My opinion

His brain was definitely back in 1964, spouting that old bugaboo they used against Goldwater:

The Republicans are going to take away your Social Secutity!

I’m with you - I think they are trying to cram into a matter of months what would have been the 4-year plan if Hillary had won in 2016. Inflation, open borders, soaring energy costs, etc.

IMHO, the weird thing of almost X-Files worthy unusual is the fact that the Fed is fighting inflation (raising rates, implementing QT) while a Dim is in the WH in his first term.

They did it to Carter bigly in the first 3 years of his term (starting at 4.75% in 1977 rising to 20% in March 1980). They did it to Clinton some in his 2nd year (in office at 3.0% in 1993 with no changes in 1993, then rose in 1994 topping at 6.0% in Feb 1995). But they gave Obama a free pass with interest rates all while giving him bigly QE (raising rates only a hair and even that was in Dec 2016 after Trump won the election). So I thought we were in an era where the Fed thought it was their job to prop up a Dim prez's sorry economy (much like Trump said they were doing for Obama when he predicted the Fed would raise rates as soon as Trump won the election, which they did).

The lamestream, the democrats, the rinos knew what the plan was but the plan could not be executed in 2016. When biden came along the lamestream, the democrats, and the rinos went for broke. Am expecting the same type of outcome in 2024 unless the counters of the votes are watched closely. The art of cheating has been made perfect and 2024 will show US how perfect their perfection is imho unless the counters of the votes are watched where they cannot cheat. Cheating by vote counting regrettably is a new normal imho

Biden has been juicing on cognitive improvement drugs. You can only do that for so long before things start going off the rails. Biden is off the rails.

When it is your retired uncle spouting gibberish at a family function it is a little sad but also has it's moments of entertainment value.

What it is someone allegedly in charge of the Executive Branch of the US government it is downright scary. If this was your uncle, father, or grandfather you would've already taken steps to keep him from hurting himself or others. You would've convinced him to stop driving. You'd at least bring up the idea of moving in with relatives or moving into an assisted living facility. You'd at the very least make sure some family member or home-care professional checked on him daily. You wouldn't let him make any decisions of consequence without help and guidance.

The question is, who is providing that "guidance" to the barely cognizant meat puppet Joe has become?

The Bond Vigilantes of the 1970s proved that they didn’t have to wait around for the Fed to raise rates, they could do it all on their own.

What’s curious is how bond buyers today continued to buy Treasury paper without insisting on an inflation premium.
