A Twitter user chimed in with:

“The point that Jon makes regarding government playing a crucial role in making Tesla, is not true.

“Yes, Tesla did receive an energy efficiency loan from govt in 2010 but so did many car companies like GM & Chrysler.

“It was actually the Daimler investment in 2009 that was crucial.”

Musk said: “Correct.”

The Twitter user said:

“And of all the US car companies that received the loan, only Tesla has repaid the full loan amount with full interest.”

I find it hard to believe. Unless they’re moving to more liberal politicians.

"I voted Democrat because they were (mostly) the kindness party"

He's not as smart as I thought he was.

Keeping multiple generations of people down and on the government teat with no hope for the future is not kindness. Flooding the country with illegal invaders is not kindness. Ruining many big city police departments so the thugs can easily prey on the defenseless poor is not kindness. Spending the country to oblivion and destroying the wealth of retirees is not kindness. Leaving the country nearly defenseless agains our enemies is not kindness.

Where do people get the idea that democrats were "kind"? The leaders of the party are the meanest and nastiest scalawags you would ever want to meet.

Why doesn’t Musk simply let Democrats find out on Election Day that they have no voter support?

I think Musk is right (which isn’t unusual). I know several people who voted Democrat for years, but who have now had it with the trans movement, cancel culture, support for “BLM” rioters, winking at homelessness, attacks on freedom of speech, etc.

They used to find Trump odious, but, to my surprise, they’re ready (almost eager) to vote for him in 2024. And they’re voting Republican this year.

I dont trust this Muskite. He’s a Democrat and wholly owned by the CCP. I think he’s trying to rally them to vote because he knows they might lose. If, of course, we are not all locked down due to Monkey Pox. Musk is a pot stirrer and not much more.

Nonsense. (as far as just the headline goes)

If anything, they are abandoning Democracy for Communism. They are NOT becoming moderates, like Elon SEEMS to be doing.

Either he's very naive, or he's being cute.

You can tell from the way Democrats openly oppose freedom of speech and the press that they expect never to lose another election. Is that over-confidence or something else?

Why is a billionaire from South Africa doing more to help Republicans in the midterms than effin Turtle boy Mitch McConnell? When is the last time that bastard took any advantage of the Biden screw ups which are endless?

Tesla is Musk’s cash cow, but SpaceX has been his baby— and the Biden Administration has been trying to kill his Starship project with regulatory bs.

Favreau fired back, saying: “Hey man, if you want to support a bunch of electric vehicle-hating climate deniers, that’s on you.

Jon, rule # 1 of War, know your enemy! You failed.

Old news-the ACA precipitated-
2010 red wave
2012 red wave except Obama incl Lerner shenanigans
2014 red win
2016 red wave
2018 blue win with 83percent of Dems believing in Russia, Russia, Russia
2020 red win with obviously stolen key races-covid, covid, covid fake impeachments, et plenty al.

Instead of facing this-the kamikazee Dems just keep moving further and further left.

Dems lost 1050 net elected offices 2010-2016-
in 2016 the Dems held a lesser percent of all elected offices in almost 100yrs.
From 2010-1016 Obama won and Wolf as gov in PA and that is about it for Dem wins in contentious elections of note.

Obama is/was cancer on the endorsement trail.
Trump’s endorsement record is obscenely superior to anyone else on all of ballotpedia.

The Dem party has and is turning into a boutique party of the coastal elites-

and all the shenanigans have done is delay the inevitable.

*I do hope to live to see the day that the Lerner testimony is unsealed but won’t be holding my breath.

**Trump is currently the slightly less than 3/1 fav in 2024-the lowest price yet.

“In the past, I voted Democrat because they were (mostly) the kindness party,” Musk said earlier this week “But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can...

The KKK was never full of kindness. The democrats have always been the party of hate for a century and a half.
