What a surprise that the National Review was/is a Never Trumper publication/website.
I have not heard anyone in the media, talk about opposing homosexual marriage in years.
Just an observation, that conservatives have given up on the issue.
Perhaps it’s because there are many other issues on which we can have influence in public policy? Is it because homosexual marriage has been imposed and there is no realistic way to undo it?
Get ready for the LGBTOP
Peter Thiel is funding some conservative candidates with HUGE donations to PACs dedicated to those candidates, including $10 million to Arizona’s Blake Masters. Wonder if there are strings attached, or if he just believes they have similar social views....
After Rick Grenell, what opposition has there been anywhere in Republican circles?
Who are the people still subscribing to National Review?
National ReWHO???
Plenty of conservatives have not given up and will not give up. The media may not cover us. But we are here.
*nods*
Even in California, the state platform states marriage is one man one woman and there are such groups as the California Republican Assembly.
If republicans turn towards sodomy support they will lose the evangelicals and the party will be gutted. I know I will leave. Similar if they abandon pro life planks.
“. . . the revered conservative magazine.” It’s neither of those things. Their subscribers must be libraries and the very elderly.
I quit my subscription years ago because they turned so left.
The job of many established conservative institutions is to conserve the latest insane leftist policy.
They have become part of the problem instead of part of the solution.
Weird to surrender years after the war has been lost. The institution of marriage, along with much of western culture, has been conquered.
What issue haven’t they given up on? I can’t think of one. There are frass roots pro-lifers, but the majority of conservative media probably thinks it’s bad to even talk about abortion. From taxes to abortion I don’t thimk there is a condervative issue anymore.
You’re all wasting your time. Queer marriage is here to stay. Look how mayor Newsom handled it in SF. Did the country care if B.J. was getting BJ’s on the side instead of from Hillary? Would you want one of those? Oval Office-workplace-didn’t matter. Time to move on.
“Time to move on.”
The problem is the left is just getting started.
They will justify new perversions quicker than we can even give them names.
I’m not sure what tie what those two issues have together. But for that matter aren’t we wasting our time on every? The government will control our money and what we believe. What hope is there?
First, by you saying that Garrett Bewkes has a "husband."
Stop it.
