You'll eat bug-"meat" [that will all be sold by a Bill Gates Corp]

Everything else will be illegal to grow, sell, or buy. [Ask farmers in Sri Lanka, Holland, etc etc.]

Don't bugs need to eat?
Don't they defecate and fart at least as much as cows for each pound of edible protein?

I really believe it’s about social status for the liberals. While they get to eat real meat, and you can be certain that they will be eating meat, the unwashed gets to eat bugs.

1. You can feed the bugs almost any organic waste (food processing residues, composted household waste, even sanitized sewage sludge).

2. It takes 5.5 - 6.5 lbs. of corn, wheat, grass, silage, etc. to produce one pound of beef. For veal, the ratio is slightly more favorable. Poultry is more favorable still. But for insects, the ratio is unbeatable: close to 2 to 1.

3. One drawback, however, is that when slaughtering the insects, the butcher has to use a magnifying glass and tweezers to separate the various different cuts (loin, cutlets, etc.).

Regards,

All insects have chitin. Eating them will give you cancer. We are not suppose to consume them.

Both the Old and the New Testament contain numerous references to the righteous consumption of insects by humans. (Of course, not all insects are kosher.)

Leviticus 11:20-30 specifically identifies a host of different insects that one may eat.

John the Baptist subsisted almost entirely on wild honey and locusts.

Further, chitin is NOT carcinogenic.

Termites are the biggest producers of methane on the planet.

Methane is the second strongest greenhouse gas.

The strongest is water vapor.

Time to ban evaporation from the oceans, right?

The Bugs will eat the people they’re being grown to feed

The same people walking around with masks will happily eat their bug burgers. I stepped on a Ciccada bug the other day. It didn't look very appetizing.

Anyone remember FISH FLOUR from around 1970? Converting sea food directly into flour.

Then the government FDA stepped in and demanded the fish be cleaned before the flour making process, and the project died.

I am surprised the FDA has not called for the proper “cleaning” of bugs before processing them into “food”.

Actually, eating bugs ain't so bad. As per the following web site, you can actually benefit from consuming them:
https://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/ss/slideshow-bugs-you-can-eat

Crickets: iron, protein, B12
Grasshoppers: protein
Termites: protein, iron, calcium
Ants: protein
Bees: amino acids, B vitamins
Beetles: protein, vitamins, minerals (as long as head, arms & legs are cut off)
Mealworms: protein, vitamins, copper, potassium, iron, zinc and selenium
Flies: protein
Caterpillars: protein
Stink bugs (ohh no): amino acids & minerals
Giant water bugs: used as a spice (?)

My problem is wouldn't you have to eat these tiny animals all day long just to benefit from their usefulness to your health? And how the hell do you cut off the head, arms & legs of a beetle?

While they may be healthy, I can't help but wonder what they would do to the odor of my breath or farts...

"One drawback, however, is that when slaughtering the insects, the butcher has to use a magnifying glass and tweezers to separate the various different cuts (loin, cutlets, etc.).

That is why we absolutely need to eat bug soup. Throw some spices in (or bugs that ate spices) and it is all good.
