They've apparently turned Galadriel into both a "Mary Sue" (lacking in any flaws or weaknesses) and an annoying, whiny, preachy Karen. That's according to a lifelong buddy who watched. They also compressed the time scale from thousands of years, to just a few.

Though they weren't perfect, I loved the first three movies, and I've read LOTR, the Hobbit, and the Silmarillion more times than I can count.

Won't be watching this crap.

I didn’t get either of those vibes from Galadriel, but it is true they’re really compressing the timeliness.
