Shocking video captures a group of teens viciously assaulting a woman and throwing her off a Washington, DC, bus – because she asked them to stop using “foul language.”
Kyla Thurston, a passenger on the DC Metrobus, told the rowdy teens to stop cursing Monday after a woman and a young child boarded, Fox 5 DC reported.
“At that point, the kids became unruly. They started being disrespectful, like saying things to me,” Thurston, 42, told the news outlet.
“Then next thing you know, there were objects being thrown at me, and I was just like, ‘Thank You, Lord,’ because throughout the whole incident the only thing I could recall was the kids hitting me and kicking me — and I had no defense,” she added.
“The only thing I said was, ‘Can y’all stop the abusive language?'” Thurston later told WJLA.
She said she asked the driver to stop but he kept driving at first.
“The bus driver made no attempt to stop the bus. He didn’t alert local authorities or anything to my defense,” Thurston told Fox 5 DC.
“Even after I’m yelling at the top of my lungs, ‘Stop the bus! Let me off the bus!’ the bus driver never stopped.”

A bit of a side story: I taught for many years in an urban public high school. And when a student misbehaved I’d call home. It was usually a waste of time ... unless I got a black grandmother. Those ladies were valuable allies.
That was 15 years ago. I don’t know if it’s the same today.

Yep, thats DC for you today. Even have a street named after BLM. From the 2000s until a few years ago, moderate dem mayors and politicians gentrified neighborhoods and were tough on crime. And now there is an incompetent leftist mayor so stuff like this is a REGULAR occurrence.

True, but they don’t have the strength or stamina to stay on top of their grandchildren 24/7 unless they lock them up in their rooms. And now that the kids are going more feral, it’s even more difficult if not impossible.
So she got ‘Rosa Park’d’ by her own people.
I wonder what PoC category this 'transit driver' self identified with? Consider this scenario, these same youths probably ride this bus on a rather frequent basis. If the driver passes the complaint up the line, what then happens?
My GUESS is that the driver loses the job, loses whatever pension that is needed for city/union retirement! If not fired, then what youth harassment comes upon this driver? To me, this example should force a lesson on how the bus company trains the employees. After all, if the driver gets this peaceful customer off, what prevents these offenders from exiting at that same stop?
In their defense, since the view was of their backsides, the ‘teens’ had their pants pulled up.
I would like to ask her what she thought of the Will Smith-Chris Rock incident. The message that was sent is that if you get “dissed,” then violence is the preferred and acceptable response.
Teens it shall remain as the elephant in America’s living room must not be spoken about.
When the push-back finally occurs, and it will, things will be ugly for a while, then there will be better times.

Things like the abuse taken by Ms. Thurston have been going on for decades. The people in charge of DC transportation do nothing about it. I know from experience.
My thoughts exactly. If she was pushing the Alibi her whole life, then to heck with her.
