One of my longest time friend’s husband is having a hard time recovering from serious abdominal surgery. His name is Ron. He’s a good guy. Just asking for prayers.

I can commiserate. It’s only been a month ago since I had neck surgery and the recovery and getting back to feeling normal seems to take forever. Anesthesia-related surgery seems to me to always complicate things.
The only thing I can say is that it gets better. Is your friend seeing anyone at the hospital for wound management? Delving deep like that creates a wound that takes some continued care and diligence.
Regardless, prayers up.
