Check out Graham Hancock. I don’t agree with all his conclusions but he is on to something with regard to ancient civilizations.

In a nutshell, what is his theory?

Excellent interview on Joe Rogan’s show a few weeks back.

It was just an early representation of science fiction. If we all but an few Australian Aborigines died off from a pandemic and thousands of years from now a surviving copy of star wars was dug up by the race spawned by the Aborigines I guess they would assumed that was us?

Or you could watch Hancock’s Netflix’s mini-series: “Ancient Apocalypse”

Basically, much of the evidence people once laughed at is becoming fact - something did happen 12,800 years ago - the most recent example of real climate change happened when the Earth passed through a dense part of the Taurids during the Summer Equinox. The events were centered on North American Laurentide Ice Sheet, & may have lasted 100 years, burning off about 4% of Earth’s vegetation and a lot of its oxygen.

The Taurids still contain objects over a mile in diameter. Next time the Earth passed through a dense part of the Taurids is not an if, but a when. And the climate will change again.
