Law enforcement closed an investigation into a racist letter allegedly sent to a University of Cincinnati professor after he refused to answer questions from the police.
Professor Antar Tichavakunda ignored multiple requests from university police officer Rick Rowan to answer questions about the letter he received, according to police reports obtained by The College Fix through a public records request.
“I called and emailed Professor Tichavakunda and I am currently waiting for a response,” Rowan wrote in his November 23, 2022 report. Tichavakunda continued to ignore Rowan for three more weeks, leading the officer to recommend closure of the case.
“I have not received a response from Professor Tichavakunda. If there is any new information related to this incident, I will attempt to follow up with him again,” he wrote in his December 13 report. “I request this case be made inactive due to a lack of leads, suspects or witnesses.”

Just imagine if the investigation of all crimes would just simply end if the defendant just didn’t answer questions.
The absurdity of the above is instead an indication that the teacher’s actions aren’t criminal, and shouldn’t be viewed as such.

I can't be sure, but I think that the prof claimed that he had received a "racist" letter (my response: So what?).
So there was as yet no defendant in this case, but rather only a complainant.
I infer that, after initially complaining about having received a "racist" letter, the prof then simply refused to cooperate further with the police.
Case closed!

Yep, that was my first thought as well. Prof. Tchavamundikarivan sent a nasty letter to himself, reported it as a hatecrime, then thought better of the scheme and clammed up.
