"We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have," wrote the group on Wednesday.

S Club 7 member Paul Cattermole has died, the UK pop group confirmed on Friday. He was 46.

"We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel," wrote the group on Instagram. "We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have."

The statement continued, "He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time."

Cattermole's cause of death is currently unknown.

Why??? Because of his young age. Oh, it could be a lot of other stuff too. Maybe he is peanut allergic, and accidentally consumed a Payday bar. I don’t know. But I guess I “suspect”, because “suspect” is a more descriptive term than “assume” - because of the increased number of people dying of vaccine related heart problems at a young age. It is kind of like if you here, Demarquarius Jones is dead at age 18, you kinda “suspect” that Demarquarius is a Negro, and you kinda suspect somebody, also a Negro, popped a cap in him. But who knows for sure??? Maybe Demarquarius choked on a piece of fried chicken???
