Flailing Fox News has revealed who will get Tucker Carlson’s 8 PM slot and announced several other changes to its primetime lineup are on the way.
According to The Drudge Report, Sean Hannity, who has been with the network since it’s inception in 1996, will be moving into Tucker’s old slot. Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld will also see their hours shuffled as well and move into primetime.
A source for Fox News called the new line-up “our boldest and most fearsome ever.”
Such a comment brings to mind an old quote by former President Lyndon Baines Johnson: Don’t p**s on my boots and tell me its raining.

Haven’t watched FOX News since 2020 election. NEVER watched the blowhard Hannity. Used to enjoy Gutfeld! when Tyrus was on but got sick of hearing how he’s #1 and the the gay enuendos were really getting old. Fox News doesn’t even show up on my channel guide anymore. Reading about the slow death of FOX News is pretty good entertainment though.
Fox News isn't just unpopular on FR. Since they canned Tucker Carlson everyone I know that's NOT on FR that watched Fox has quit.
Fox News has crossed a very distinct line. Not terribly unlike Buttwiper Beer with their dude Dylan Mulvaney dressing up like a female teenager and flitting about like a little girl. It's offensive what Fox News has done.
Their “talent” has gone downhill. They are ousting anyone who thinks for themselves and says what they want to say.
Fox News probably needs to start Butt Light commercials in their prime time line up. That will do it. //sarc off//
What a joke. Hannity’s in love with himself, Jesse’s show is really quite a bore, and Gutfeld always has to try way too hard for cheap laughs. I used to watch Hannity every night, but when he brought in a studio audience to fawn over him I was done.

Newsmax is my new home for prime time. They’ve really gone quite a bit to the right and they’re backing Trump and MAGA strongly. I DVR all the shows so I can zip through the ‘my pillow’ guy and insurance commercials.

That was my first reaction.
Tucker caused higher ratings on the shows before and after his own show. When he left the network the audience for those other shows went down.
I wonder if they are also firing Laura, Maria and the Judge?
I read an article that had looked at the ratings before and after Tucker's firing. Hannity and Ingraham had both plummeted in their ratings.
It seems that Tucker was the catalyst for people watching Hannity and Laura. With him gone, they are not getting nearly the audience that they had previously.
I have switched to RAV for most of my News/Talk shows. Bannon and then, later, Live From Studio 6B.

Liberals watch Fox News more than any liberal media outlet combined.
Hannity and his pal Lindsey aren’t going to improve the ratings in the 8 pm slot. Their ratings will sink even lower.
