Watching videos of the man, he doesn’t look where he is walking. He never looks down. He is always looking straight ahead, obviously looking for direction or signals from one of his handlers. You can’t walk forward, and not be aware of where you are stepping. I don’t think he has the capacity to be aware of his own surroundings. He has to rely on others for that.
